On December 9, 2025, ITRI’s Information and Communications Research Laboratories hosted a 6G achievement showcase at IEEE GLOBECOM 2025, attracting 24 representatives from across sectors. Participants included delegates from the EU, the UK, and the Netherlands experimental networks, as well as domestic and international 6G experts, and industry partners such as Chunghwa Telecom and MediaTek.
The event featured demonstrations at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, showcasing key technologies including 6G FR3 antenna arrays, Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC), Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS). Notably, Taiwan’s 6G RF chip and antenna array were unveiled internationally for the first time, significantly enhancing Taiwan’s visibility and influence within the global 6G ecosystem.
