At MWC 2026, ITRI showcased the Athena Orchestrator, an AI-enhanced network management platform that integrates intent-based control, multi-vendor RAN optimization, and integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) capabilities. By combining intelligent orchestration with real-time sensing awareness, the platform enables autonomous network operations and provides a robust foundation for industrial deployment and vertical application validation.
The showcase generated significant international interest, fostering concrete opportunities for global collaboration. ITRI engaged with key ecosystem players, including France’s Siradel and BubbleRAN, Finland’s Cumucore, and Ireland’s Druid, alongside experts from Trinity College Dublin’s CONNECT Centre and the Fraunhofer Society.
Furthermore, ITRI deepened discussions with existing partners from the EU SNS JU 6G-SANDBOX project and the UK JOINER initiative. These engagements focus on advancing cooperative R&D and the vertical validation of ISAC technologies, ultimately extending ITRI’s global collaborative network and strengthening its long-term partnerships in 6G development and application validation.
